Ben Simmons
Ben joined The Hardy Group in 2023 as a Senior Project Director with over 10 years of experience in Project Management. He is a detail-oriented and results-driven professional with a strong background in large-scale renovations, capital improvement programs, and multi-site project delivery.
As a Senior Project Director, Ben leads project management efforts, serving as the primary client contact and ensuring exceptional project performance from inception to completion. He is responsible for establishing project goals, developing design and scope, and overseeing budgets, schedules, and construction activities. He also manages the Capital Intelligence process, leads contract and change order reviews, manages cost control and financial reporting, develops cash flow projections, and directs the project team.

Prior to joining The Hardy Group, Ben held the roles of Senior Project Manager, Senior Facilities Project Manager, and Project Engineer. He has worked for notable companies including Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, Extended Stay America, and Lend Lease. With Sevan, Ben led multiple large-scale renovation efforts at military bases across the country. He managed roofing replacements, structural repairs, and a $35 Million outyear development program which included interior renovations, exterior renovations, housing conversions, demolition, and landslide construction. At Extended Stay America, he managed high-volume hotel renovations with a total internal budget exceeding $75,000,000 where he oversaw field-based Owner’s Representatives, design coordination, preconstruction efforts, and contractor engagement.
Ben earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a minor in Business Management from Georgia Southern University.
